Driving from Melbourne to Phillip Island is easy and scenic. Follow the M1 (Monash Freeway), then South Gippsland Highway onto Phillip Island Road. It takes 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. Free parking is available onsite.
By Public Transport. Catch a V/Line train and bus from Southern Cross Station all the way to Newhaven. Stop at: Newhaven – Big Wave Complex (right on our front door). It takes around 2.5 to 3.5 hours depending on connections. Check V/Line for current times or message us if you're unsure.

Getting Around Phillip Island
A car is the best way to get around Phillip Island as it's quite large with lots to do across the whole of Phillip Island, however The Island Accommodation is right near the bridge and a perfect gateway spot.
By Public Transport. There's local buses that can get you around bass coast, however times and locations can be limited, call us to discuss the details.
Bike is a great way to get around, and we've got a number of bikes available to hire.
