Our Lessons have been designed to prepare anyone in the basics of this Australian rite of passage, then progressing toward the goal of standing up in the water.

Stay at Phillip Islands newest accommodation facility includes 1 bed in a 12 bed room type. Room upgradeds available on request.

Participants learn;

• How the surf behaves (wind, tides & swell)

• How surfboards work • Reading surf conditions

• Paddling & setting up for waves

• Catching a wave

• Standing up on a board The instructors are patient, experienced and in the water with you.

Their goal is to try to get everyone upright on a board and they will go to amazing lengths to achieve that.

Equipment provided:

• Soft Surfboards

• Full Length 3/2 wetsuits

• Qualified, experienced and insured instructors (Life Saving Certificates, Level 2 First Aid, Working with Children checks)

Location & Times;

• YCW Beach (Meet at Phillip Island Chocolate Factory car park)

• Every Day at 10:00am

• Meet in the car park 10 minutes before the start.

Cost

• $60 per person Bookings
