The Island Accommodation is the perfect venue for any group!

Perfectly located at the Gateway to Phillip Island it is the ideal base for groups wishing to experience all the island has to offer.  

Our modern and flexible rooms provide a myriad of options, from private twin rooms with en-suite through to bunk rooms accommodating up to 12.  With a capacity of up to 120 people at any one time, we can configure beds to suit almost any budget and need.

But the Island Accommodation is more than just a bed. Our range of extra's provide groups with everything they need to make sure their event is a success:

Catering

A key to the success of any group event is feeding the hoards.

The Island Accommodation has a variety of options for catering, from fully catered through to hiring a rod and heading down to the water:

Self Catering

Have the total flexibility of designing and cooking your own menu.  The Island Accommodation's fully equiped gourmet kitchens allow you full control of your catering.  You may bring your own food down, or choose from a range of local outlets:

  • Newhaven IGA - fully licensed supermarket (5 minutes walk)
  • San Remo Foodworks - fully licensed supermarket (just over the bridge)
  • Hillies Meats - award winning gourmet butcher (San Remo)
  • Aberdeen Asian Groceries (San Remo)

Fully Catered

Located right next door to The Island Accommodation is The Big Wave Cafe.  Perfect for meals & coffee, they also our preferred caterer.

The Big Wave Cafe can provide breakfast, lunch and dinner for 2 to 122.

Catch and cook

You may wish to hire a rod or two and head down to the water.  Alternatively, The Rhyll Trout Farm and Bush Tucker have a range of catch, clean and cooking options and are just a few minutes away in Rhyll.

The Surrounding Areas

Phillip Island has a huge range of eating options, mainly in Cowes, as well as a few out of the way places (such as Purple Hen winery or Phillip Island wines).  The Phillip Island Nature Parks (Penguins, Nobbies and Churchill Island) all have a variety of dining options with the benefit of spectacular views.  Let us know your requirements and we will source a solution just for you.

Mix and Match

Of course eating the same way every time can become a bit tedious.  Why not try a combination of self-catering, eating out and in house catering during your stay.
